When a disaster strikes it may be several days before emergency services arrive in your neighborhood. Even if it's not a devastating earthquake, preparing for the unexpected is important.
This FREE class, being presented by San Jose's Office of Emergency Management, is designed to teach individuals and families how to be able to make it through the first 72 hours following a disaster. Learn what supplies you need to have, where to keep them, and how you can ensure that you're ready for the unexpected.
This introductory class includes information on different types of disasters; home and work place preparedness, and how to build a disaster supply kit for you and your family.
