    I have focused on preserving Santa Clara County’s history throughout my career. In the past two years alone, I have led the Board of Supervisors to unanimously grant historic status to both the Cambrian Carousel and the Burbank Theater sign and marquee.     Last night, the Buena Vista Neighborhood passed a resolution to support formally ask the City of San Jose and the D6 office to take action to preserve the historic neon sign that has hung in front of the original Orchard Supply Hardware storefront.
