2021 Redistricting Process



Every 10 years, the County redraws supervisorial district boundaries, taking into account population changes reflected in the decennial Census. The County has appointed the 2021 Advisory Redistricting Commission for the 6-month redistricting effort to redraw the County’s five supervisorial district boundaries. The Board of Supervisors established the formation of a 15-member commission to hold virtual public hearings and mapping sessions, collect community input, and recommend to the Board updated placement of the district boundaries.


This website will be updated as the redistricting process moves forward, so please check back for more information. If you would like to receive updates and additional information, please email 2021redistricting@ceo.sccgov.org.


Any members of the public or the Board who wish to communicate with the Commission, can email 2021redistricting@ceo.sccgov.org. If the email pertains to official business of the Commission, the email will be posted on the redistricting website (www.sccgov.org/2021redistricting) and noticed on the next Advisory Redistricting Commission meeting agenda.
