A proposal is coming forward from city staff that would essentially amend the zoning for thousands of single-family dwelling properties in the city to allow them to redevelop into duplexes, triplexes and four-plexes.
The neighborhoods that could redevelop would be areas near transit-oriented urban villages. One proposal is to allow redevelopment of areas within a 1/4 mile of an urban village. Another option would be redevelopment of areas within 1/2 mile of an urban village.
