Ford GoBike, run by Motivate, which was acquired by Lyft in July of 2018 and has since rebranded the bicycle program as Bay Wheels. The company is still using both Ford GoBike and Bay Wheels at this time and they operate under Lyft.
As part of the planed expansion of the bike share program, the Ford GoBike station at West San Carlos and Meridian has been installed and is open for business. The station is located along W San Carlos, just outside McDonalds along the drive-thru.

Ford GoBike has been San Jose's primary bike share program, connecting neighborhoods in the downtown San Jose area. After consultation with thousands of residents, local agencies and elected officials to ensure that bike share works for the communities it serves. Ford GoBike has planned and installed a number of additional bike stations allowing residents a convenient and environmentally friendly way of getting around town.
