Mark your calendars, San José—Friday, July 4, 2025 is nearly here, and our beloved Rose, White & Blue Parade & Festival is ready to bloom! This beloved tradition brings together families, neighbors, and friends for a fun-filled, free day along The Alameda.


Morning Highlights: Parade & Car Cruise

The fun kicks off bright and early:

  • Car Cruise starts at 9:45 AM—classic cars rev up, adding vintage charm and revved-up excitement. Rose, White and Blue

  • Parade rolls out at 10 AM, winding through the Rose Garden and Shasta/Hanchett neighborhoods. Expect colorful floats, live bands, dance squads, and kids decked out in red, white, and blue! Rose, White and Bluethesanjoseblog.com

Kids can decorate their own bikes or wagons at the staging area near Lincoln High School before the parade sets off. Rose, White and Blue


Afternoon Fun: Festival Vibes

Handy Tips to Know Before You Go

  • Bathrooms are available at key spots including Westminster Presbyterian Church parking lot, Hester School sidewalk, Central YMCA, and Lincoln High School. All marked accessible venues. Rose, White and Blue

  • Accessible parking is at Hester School and behind Westminster Presbyterian Church. Rose, White and Blue

  • Grab breakfast or lunch before or after the parade at local favorites along The Alameda—think T-T Deli, LUNA Mexican Kitchen, Hop & Vine, Café Rosalena, Greenlee’s Bakery, and more. Note: Crema Coffee Co. on The Alameda will be closed, but their Race St. location is open from 7 AM–2 PM. Rose, White and Blue
