Dear Neighbors,

Get Tested! ⁣ ⁣⁣

Everyone should get tested for COVID-19, even if you do not have symptoms. We now know that at least 25% of people will not have symptoms while they are infectious.

Do not show up at a pop-up testing site if you have symptoms. Instead, contact your doctor or call Valley Connections at 1-888-334-1000 to receive an assessment about where to go.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

EVENT DETAILS:

Two pop-up sites are available this week offering FREE COVID-19 testing to everyone:

Tuesday through Thursday (June 30, July 1, and July 2):

⁣LOCATION 1:

Silver Creek High School (Raider Hall)

3434 Silver Creek Rd, San Jose 95121

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

LOCATION 2:

Murphy Park Building

250 N Sunnyvale Avenue, Sunnyvale 94086

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

WHO SHOULD GET TESTED?

Everyone should get tested. However, there are certain groups of people who are at higher risk of getting COVID-19, and we encourage them to get tested monthly, even if they do not have symptoms: those who work in healthcare, homeless shelters, jails and other custodial settings, food banks, public safety/emergency response, food service, grocery, construction, delivery, janitorial, transit, or social work, among other jobs, and any person who works in a skilled nursing facility should ideally get tested every two weeks. ⁣

Testing is free for everyone and no appointment is needed—simply show up and get tested. No health insurance or doctor’s note is required, and it does not impact your immigration status.⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣

These popup testing sites are only one type of location. They move around each week. Testing is also available at community (drive-thru) sites, hospitals and clinics. Check the website for all testing location information: www.sccFreeTest.org
