No plans for the 4th of July weekend this year? That’s not a problem, the annual BNVA 4th of July Block Party and Potluck is back again this year.
As always we will be shutting down portions of Menker Avenue near Buena Vista Park creating a safe space for kids and neighbors to share food, fun, and make new friends. Typically the grilling starts around noon and the party goes till around 6pm.
Everyone is encouraged to bring some food or drinks to share and an empty stomach! Hotdogs and drinks will be provided by the Buena Vista Neighborhood Association through the San Jose CAP grant program.
Water balloons are customary and if we are lucky, we may get Fire Station 4 to come by with a Fire Engine for the kids and adults alike.
Everyone is welcome to join; we look forward to seeing neighbors, old and new alike.
