Holiday Toy Drive

Updated: 3 days ago

The Buena Vista Neighborhood Association will yet again be working to support the San Jose Fire Department in their efforts to bring joy and happiness to local families during the holiday season!l by collecting toys for families in need. The winter holidays are a time of joy, happiness, and goodwill. It is a time of giving and helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves, especially struggling children and damilies.

These toys make a tremendous difference in the lives of the children and families that receive them gratefully.

We are collecting new, un-wrapped, un-damaged, non-violent (no guns/weapons, no death, no killing, etc) toys, games, video games, arts & crafts supplies, activity & coloring books, and stocking stuffers (no stuffed animals/plush toys due to sanitary reasons) for children of all ages

The distribution of these toys are not only viewed as a simple gift but also brings joy and happiness to the children and families in need.

San Jose Fire could not do it without the help of concerned citizens, business leaders and the local community and rely on local business and organizations for assistance.

if you are interested in donating toys please contact us so we can arrange for a non-contact pick up as per Covid protocol. Alternatively, we can provide you with the location in the neighborhood where are you can drop off your toys and we will take them to the fire department directly

if you would like to donate directly, you can leave toys at any fire station (you can leave them at the station door if the crew Isn’t home).
