San José's General Plan is our blueprint for growth. As part of the General Plan 4-Year Review, the City Council directed staff to explore redistributing planned job growth from North Coyote Valley to other growth areas, as well as actions to support overall economic development and employment goals as expressed in the General Plan.

The Task Force will discuss the future of North Coyote Valley and the Mid-Coyote Urban Reserve to achieve objectives such as the preservation of open space and wildlife habitat, flood and groundwater protection, agriculture, climate change resilience, and passive recreation.
