Minor Quake Rattles Area Amid Winter Storms



An earthquake with a magnitude of of 3.9 struck the South Bay on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake erupted along the Calaveras Fault shortly after 9:30 a.m. People stretching from Newark to Santa Cruz said they felt it and described the feeling of a huge jolt.
