NEW MEETING DATE: Proposed Urban Village and Mixed-use Zoning Districts


The City of San Jose is hosting two follow-up informational meetings to share updates about our proposed Urban Village and Mixed-use Zoning Districts. Planning staff is proposing 6 new zoning districts which align with existing General Plan land use designations and will facilitate high-density commercial, residential, and mixed-use development. The proposedzoningdistricts include the following: Urban Village Commercial, Urban Village, Mixed-Use Commercial, Mixed-Use Neighborhood, Urban Residential, and Transit Residential.


These meetings are meant to provide updates regarding the proposed zoning districts and to offer time to take comments and answer questions from the public. Both meetings will cover the same information, we are providing two meeting times to allow more people to participate.
