Resources to help build your business, new business contracting opportunities, informative and practical business-building workshops, and networking with other small businesses are just a few of the benefits for Santa Clara County business owners who attend the 8th annual Santa Clara County Small Business Summit on Tuesday, April 30.

We encourage business owners from Santa Clara County to attend the summit to learn how to develop contract opportunities with the County of Santa Clara, the City of San José and other agencies. The event will also feature several panelists and industry experts who will provide valuable information and resources for business people interested in doing business with the local government and finding capital to grow their business.
The County of Santa Clara conducts solicitations for a variety of commodities and services including: computer hardware and software, software maintenance and support, medical and surgical equipment and accessories, medical equipment maintenance, office furniture, furniture installation, moving services, building construction and repair services, construction management services, architectural/engineering professional services, advertising, environmental management, electrical services, janitorial services, plumbing services, HVAC, painting services, as well as consultancy services related to the following fields: technology, medical, legal, government, and non-profit community services.
The event is hosted by the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), the County of Santa Clara, the City of San José, the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), the Industry Council for Small Businesses Development, and the Enterprise Foundation of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Silicon Valley.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING: Participants are encouraged to take public transportation. This location is serviced by the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail and bus lines 61*, 62, 66 and 181. (*61 Southbound last trip is at 8:55 p.m. for this location.) The Light Rail stop for this location is Civic Center, a few steps away from the business summit.
Paid parking is available at the Parking Structure at 171 West Hedding Street directly across from the courthouse. Free Valet Parking is available in the surface parking lot at the corner of North San Pedro and West Hedding Street. Parking at other locations will not be validated or reimbursed.
