    Lincoln High School Farmers Market Set to Open in May 5th

    Interested in having locally grown produce for your plate, your family , and your community? Lincoln High School is set to host a farmers market starting Saturday, May 5. It will operate every subsequent Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm. Community members and the Shasta Hanchett Park Neighborhood Association have worked tirelessly to identify an experienced operator willing to run the farmers market and to ensure it makes sense for the school and our community.     Farmers Market Community Meeting

    The Shasta/Hanchett Park Neighborhood Association (S/HPNA) and community members have been working for years to bring a farmers market back to the neighborhood. A couple years ago, many neighbors graciously responded to a S/HPNA poll sent out asking for your thoughts on the best potential sites for a market, the highest support was for a market at Lincoln.
