Theres plenty to do in and around the area for halloween, here are just a few of this years events for children young and old.

Haunt the Hollow

Sunday, October 28 - 12p.m. - 5p.m.

Come enjoy the holiday fun!

  • Trick-or-Treat stations throughout the Park & Zoo provide safe family fun!

  • "The Halloween Spooktacular" show by Liberty Dance Company

  • Corn Maze

  • Special Puppet shows

BVNA Spirit Night

Spirit Night is here again and the Buena Vista Neighborhood Association will host a house in the neighborhood where we will be distributing glow necklaces and candy as well as taking instant photos of our costumed families as they haunt the hood in search of sugary sweets. Trick or Treat on the Avenue

Trick or Treat in Downtown Willow Glen! Participating businesses will have a trick or treat pumpkin sign on their window.

Session #1, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.- Toddlers, preschoolers & kids in strollers

Session #2, 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - School-aged kids in costume

Trick or Treat on the Alameda

Wednesday, October 31st, 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The Alameda Business District

The Alameda Business Association in conjunction with the Shasta/Hanchett Park Neighborhood Association will host the 11th Annual "Trick or Treat on The Alameda" on Halloween afternoon. Dozens of businesses in The Alameda Business District will offer "treats" for children and families. SHPNA will be giving out glow necklaces and there will be lots of other family friendly fun including a "Trunk-or-Treat" at the Westminister Presbyterian Church and the Hester Tunnel will be decorated in a surprise theme.
