    The San Jose Police Department (SJPD) has made multiple arrests, stepped up patrols, and are continuing to investigate incidents. SJPD asks anyone with a video of a crime in progress to send it to SJPD by calling 311. Please do not post on social media or send to the press. Videos that have been sent directly to the police department have been helpful in identifying suspects who have perpetrated multiple crimes.     Heat Wave Advisory

    A heat wave is upon us here in the Bay Area. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and high temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior and create health hazards for residents. The National Weather service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the North Bay Mountains and East Bay Hills, but the hot, dry weather will be throughout the region.     Sporadic Power Outages Throughout Neighborhood

    High winds have been blowing trees into overhead lines which has resulted in multiple outages and down lines in Buena Vista and throughout the city. PG&E is working to restore service to all customers. This has also resulted in a number of roads been shut down as line crews secure and repair the downed wires.
